These birch logs are salvaged by me personally from the great southern Maine woods from deadfall, cut waste, or new growth set to be clear cut. Each piece is unique and unpredictable as they are cut directly from whatever suitable stock the forest offers to me and Tuka (My doggo helper).

These holders are generally 1.25″ up to 2″ tall and 2.5″ – 3″ across and approximately 9″ or 12″ long.

These logs do not include candles.

All wood is raw and untreated, they are pressure washed with water only. No oils, preservatives, or finishes applied. They are fully organic creations with no chemicals suitable for Yuletide altars or Christmas celebrations, safe to be burned after your celebration.

Each piece is cut lengthwise in half to sit solidly on a flat surface. The bark is roughly cleaned and brushed to remove bulk debris and dirt. Recesses are then drilled and bark is trimmed around fire areas. Some may be cut more or less in half than others. It all depends on the logs and a strategy to minimize waste.

SHIPPING – Shipping is USPS ground because of weight and size. All orders receive a tracking number once they are packed.

NOTE –  Shipment does not include greenery or additional decor shown in photos other than log and candles (if ordered).
You may need to seat your candles in the holes with a few drops of wax if they are loose. Logs may shift or shrink slightly as they dry.

Most logs are shipped green and are damp with birch sap. Do not leave on exposed furniture.
Each order is one single log. Multiples may be selected at check out.
